All About My Upcoming Vacation

It’s true what you heard. I’m taking the vacation of a lifetime (for me). I’ve always wanted to take a week and camp out in the woods in a cabin. Recently a buddy of mine told me about this company in the mountains of North Carolina that rents local Asheville pet friendly cabins. This is especially important to me because my dog Arthur goes everywhere with me. Any vacation rental that won’t accept him will not be seeing anything of me that’s for sure.

I looked into the Asheville pet friendly cabins that my friend told me about and they had a real nice selection. I don’t need anything special but they were all pretty special if you want to know the truth of it. So maybe I should say that I don’t need anything luxurious or elaborate. Just the basics for me, I always say. Arthur and I just like it plain and simple.

We’re staying in Granite Ridge Cottage, located less than 10 minutes from downtown Black Mountain and 15 minutes from Asheville. This cottage sits on a ridge top in a private setting that has the feeling of being in a park. Amenities include an outdoor fire pit, a hammock on the covered porch, floor to ceiling windows to appreciate the views and linens are included.

I can’t wait to get there and begin my vacation. Arthur and I plan on doing quite a bit of hiking and some fishing, too.
